Hello preschool families!
Wow! This is the last week of assignments for preschool this year! Time flies by so fast! If you are behind on assignments (or simply feel like completing more), you can continue to submit assignments through Friday of next week. Parent Teacher Conferences: If you have not already done so, please sign up for a time to meet with me (virtually via Zoom) to discuss your child's progress this school year and set goals for you to work on this summer. Conferences have been going pretty well so far, despite the fact that we have to do them a little differently. I would still like to meet with everyone if possible. I still have times available Tuesday-Friday this week. Sign up for an available time here. Seesaw: This week's assignments have been added to Seesaw. If possible, try to submit 5 posts for the week. Posts can be anything--completing the assigned activities, pictures of completed worksheets (can be ones I sent home, ones you printed off, or from a workbook you purchased), or fun activities you chose to complete together (such as cooking/baking, building something, creating an art project, etc.). If your child is on scholarship and you are behind on posts, please submit as many as you can (possibly more than 5) so that I can share that information with the scholarship committee. Next week is the last week to submit assignments on Seesaw. YouTube Channel: Please check out my YouTube Channel for the latest videos! I have videos for Bible lessons, read alouds, letter review, and number review! I hope to also add some videos for reviewing shapes in the upcoming weeks. I will continue to post videos until we are finished reviewing all the letters, numbers 0-20, and shapes! You might find these resources helpful over the summer to teach letters/numbers/shapes your child is struggling with or to review this information so your child retains it over the summer. Share Circle Zoom Meeting: We will have our final Zoom meeting this week at your child's usual time. If you are able, please join us for this meeting. You will receive an invitation to the meeting later today. Sight Words: In a few conferences, we discussed that some children are ready to start learning some sight words. You can purchase workbooks for sight word practice. Here is a list of preschool sight words. There are so many ways you can practice sight words! Here are some ideas:
Additional Activities: If you are looking for some other ideas to try, consider these:
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Blessings, Ms. Barker

Mother's Day is on Sunday. Since we've been away from school, we have been unable to create Mother's Day gifts this year. Here are a couple of ideas you can try for Mother's Day this year (maybe have dad or an older sibling help put this together for mom, or grandma).
1) Mother's Day Scavenger Hunt 2) Mother's Day Questionnaire Happy Mother's Day! :) Blessings, Ms. Barker Hello preschool families,
It is hard to believe that we only have one more week of preschool after this week! Time flies!!!! Please read through this week's post carefully. There is a lot of important information here. Thanks! Spring Conferences: If you have not done so already, please sign up for a virtual spring conference here. I would still like to meet with each and every one of you to discuss your child's progress, set goals for the summer, and answer any questions you may have. Please sign up at your earliest convenience. After you sign up, I will send you a Zoom invitation with the details you will need for your child's virtual conference. YouTube Channel: You may have noticed a new section on our classroom YouTube channel--numbers! Please do not feel obligated to watch every single video. I am trying to include a variety so that your child can watch the videos of the skills he needs to work on! I will continue adding videos throughout the summer to help you and your child accomplish the goals we set at conferences! You can find our class YouTube channel here. Spring Pictures: If you ordered spring pictures, you can pick them up Wednesday evening during the appreciation parade! Details were sent out by Mr. Bickel this week. Please read it if you have not already done so. Important Email from Mr. Bickel: Again, if you have not already read Mr. Bickel's email, I encourage you to do. I am also including it and the attachments here for your convenience. Email, PTO plan, appreciation parade. Seesaw: This week's assignments have been added to Seesaw. Please try to complete at least 5 this week if you can. Remember, any post can count as an assignment! You do not have to do the ones I assign. Please pick and choose what activities work best for you and your family. Thank You: I also would like to give a big shout out to YOU! You have been a big help in your child's learning and growth these past few weeks! Thank you for helping me teach your child while we have been away from school. This could not be done without you! Additional Activities You Can Try: If you are interested or looking for other things to do, consider the following:
